The pattern is so basic it almost doesn't seam like it's worth posting, but it's not that you can't come up with something like this, it's that you didn't... Enjoy the pattern.
R1: *ch 5 sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next st, hdc in next st, dc in next st* repeat 4 times for a total of 5 times. sl st in 1st ch.
If you want a bookmark you can make a chain that's 5 or 6 inches long, or you can leave it as it is.
